"New Work by Robot"
The March exhibit at The Studio is "New Work by Robot", a fictionalized trip down Route 66 made through the eyes of Robot and visualized by artists Jeffrey Sass and Keith Buchholz, both of St. Louis, Missouri. Sass' large-format painted photographs on tshirts and Buchholz's box constructions give a playful yet slightly disturbing experience of by-gone days of roadside attractions, family trips, and the effects of time on an often mythologized past. The opening on Saturday March 10th features live music by Brother Rob, Michael LaRoche, The Laminators and The Labor Pains and begins at 7pm.
"New Work by Robot" is on view through April 7th any time The Studio is open. Call 603-455-8008 for hours or for more information.
